Ring A Bottle Cancellation Policy

At Ring A Bottle, we aim to provide a reliable and efficient experience for customers, vendors, and delivery partners. This Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which an order may be cancelled and any associated responsibilities or charges.


1. Customer-Initiated Cancellations

a. Before Order Acceptance

Customers may cancel their order at no charge if the vendor or shopper has not yet accepted or begun preparing the order.

b. After Order Acceptance

  • If the vendor has already accepted and started processing the order, cancellation may not be possible, especially for perishable or customized goods.

  • If cancellation is permitted, a restocking fee or partial charge may apply.

c. After Dispatch or Delivery

Once an order has been dispatched or delivered, it cannot be cancelled. If an OTP (One-Time Password) was submitted, the order is deemed completed and non-cancellable.


2. Vendor-Initiated Cancellations

Vendors may cancel orders under the following conditions:

  • Product is out of stock or unavailable.

  • Delivery cannot be fulfilled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., store closure, technical failure).

Vendors must notify the customer promptly and may be required to offer substitutions or alternatives if available.

Repeated cancellations without valid reasons may result in penalties, temporary suspension, or account removal from the Ring A Bottle platform.


3. Delivery Partner Cancellations

Delivery personnel (shoppers) must only cancel an assigned order when:

  • There is a personal emergency or logistical issue.

  • The pickup or drop-off location is inaccessible or unsafe.

All cancellations must be logged in the app, and repeated or unjustified cancellations may lead to performance review and platform suspension.


4. OTP-Based Delivery Finalization

Once a customer submits the One-Time Password (OTP):

  • The order is officially marked as delivered and fulfilled.

  • No cancellations, modifications, or refunds are allowed.

  • Disputes or concerns post-delivery must be addressed directly with the vendor.


5. Service Fees & Cancellation Charges

  • Before preparation: Free cancellation

  • After preparation but before delivery: Partial charge or vendor-assessed fee may apply

  • After OTP or completed delivery: No cancellation allowed

Ring A Bottle reserves the right to withhold service or delivery fees incurred up to the point of cancellation.


6. Force Majeure

Orders may be cancelled by any party without penalty due to force majeure events such as:

  • Natural disasters

  • Civil unrest or road blockages

  • System outages or power failures

  • Public health emergencies

In such cases, Ring A Bottle will do its best to notify affected users and facilitate refunds or credits where applicable.


7. Legal Compliance

This cancellation policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada and the provincial regulations of the delivery or vendor location.


8. Policy Updates

Ring A Bottle may update this policy at any time. All users will be notified via in-app notice or website post with the updated effective date.
