At Ring A Bottle, we are committed to providing fast, reliable, and compliant delivery services across all our supported categories, including groceries, alcohol, cannabis, parcels, cosmetics, and other vendor-supplied products. This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are prepared, shipped, and delivered through our platform.


1. Delivery Service Areas

We currently offer delivery in select cities and regions across Canada. Service availability may vary based on:

  • Vendor location

  • Distance from pickup to drop-off

  • Type of product (e.g. regulated items)

2. Delivery Methods

Orders placed on Ring A Bottle are fulfilled through our network of independent shoppers and delivery partners.

We offer the following types of delivery:

  • On-Demand (ASAP): Typically delivered within 60–120 minutes, depending on item type and distance.

  • Scheduled Delivery: Select a future delivery window (up to 48 hours in advance).

  • Same-Day Delivery: For orders placed before cut-off time (usually 4:00 PM local time).


3. Delivery Timing

Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Delays may occur due to:

  • Vendor preparation time

  • Weather conditions

  • Traffic or access restrictions

  • Age verification (for restricted items)

If a delay is expected, you will be notified through the app or SMS.


4. Special Handling for Restricted Items

a. Alcohol & Cannabis

  • Only available in jurisdictions where legally permitted.

  • Delivery requires valid government-issued photo ID proving legal age (18+ or 19+ depending on the province).

  • The recipient must be present at the time of delivery; no drop-offs are allowed for these products.

  • OTP (One-Time Password) must be entered to complete delivery.

b. Parcels

  • Parcels must meet size and weight restrictions (set by the platform).

  • Contents must comply with provincial, federal, and carrier regulations.

  • No illegal, hazardous, or flammable items allowed.


5. Delivery Confirmation

All orders must be confirmed upon delivery using one of the following:

  • OTP (One-Time Password): Provided to the customer at checkout and shared with the delivery driver upon receipt.

  • Photo Proof of Delivery (if OTP not required): For non-restricted items with customer consent.

Orders are marked as complete once OTP is submitted or delivery is confirmed.


6. Failed Delivery Attempts

If delivery fails due to customer-related issues (e.g. unavailable, incorrect address, no ID for restricted item), the following may apply:

  • Re-delivery fee

  • Restocking fee

  • No refund if OTP was already used

Our delivery partners will wait up to 5–10 minutes at the location before marking the delivery as failed.


7. Vendor Shipping Commitments

Vendors on the Ring A Bottle platform agree to:

  • Prepare items promptly based on order type (on-demand/scheduled).

  • Accurately package and label goods.

  • Communicate promptly if items are out of stock or substitutions are needed.

  • Follow applicable provincial and municipal shipping laws.


8. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

All shipping services offered through Ring A Bottle comply with:

  • Provincial and federal laws governing regulated items

  • Consumer protection standards

  • Privacy regulations for customer and location data

We reserve the right to refuse delivery if an order or its contents violate these rules.


9. Policy Updates

Ring A Bottle may modify this Shipping Policy at any time. All updates will be published in the app and on our website with a new effective date.
